We are thrilled to announce that the Post-Pandemic Leadership Research Institute (PLRI) has evolved and established a new affiliate, the California Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship (CalAE). We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Yanli He, our Startup Leadership Analytics Team, and our startup sponsors for their support, leadership, and hard work over the past several months.
Unlike traditional business or leadership schools that focus primarily on theory and general business education, CalAE is built around hands-on training, real-world experience, and industry-specific entrepreneurship development. We empower students to move beyond the classroom and transform ideas into action through practical business creation, innovation, and leadership development.
Through specialized entrepreneurship programs offered by the School of Pet Grooming Entrepreneurship, School of Restaurant Entrepreneurship, School of Beauty and Spa Entrepreneurship, School of Tech Entrepreneurship, and School of Day Care Entrepreneurship, students develop both technical expertise and entrepreneurial capabilities aligned with their career aspirations.
CalAE proudly partners with real businesses, venture capital professionals, and industry leaders across diverse sectors, providing students with opportunities to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, participate in hands-on training, build valuable professional networks, and gain practical insights into successful business operations.
Upon graduation, CalAE students will be equipped with the skills, experience, and connections needed to launch their own ventures, establish strong industry relationships, and access entrepreneurial resources and venture capital networks to support their long-term growth and success.
