2024 Silicon Valley Asian Women Leadership Forum

On April 21, the 2024 Asian Women Leadership Forum was successfully held in Silicon Valley. This Forum is co-organized by the Post-Pandemic Leadership Research Institute (PLRI), Injury-free Piano & Dance Institute, San Mateo Piano, and Dobe USA. The 2024 Asian Women Leadership Forum invited 12 Asian American women who were born in Asia but are now thriving in the U.S. to share their remarkable leadership experiences and stories. The primary purpose of this forum was to recognize the significant contributions of Asian American women and use their examples to inspire more ordinary people to unlock their potential, reach their goals, and contribute to the kingdom’s eternity. Such an idea was created by Dr. Yanli He, the co-founder and CEO of the PLRI.

Panel Members

Unlike other immigrants who came to the U.S. at a very young age, these 12 Asian women, 10 out of 12, came to the U.S. in their 30s or 40s. Although they faced massive challenges initially, with wisdom and courage, step by step, they fulfilled their American dreams. From mastering English to earning a Ph.D., from a restaurant worker to a successful business owner, from an international student to a project manager, from an H1B worker to a chairman of non-profits, from a single mother to an entrepreneur, from the district manager to the global director of a Fortune 500 company, from international students to entrepreneurs, from a housewife to a bank manager, their unique stories and examples are a testament to the power of diligence, resilience, and determination, and demonstrate the wisdom of East Asians. Unlike the famous ones, they are not well-known. However, they represent the most real, common, and traditional Asian women of integrity, diligence, humility, compassion, tolerance, dedication, and resilience.

Very special, the 2024 Asian Women Leadership Forum invited next-generation musicians to perform a rewards concert and add fresh ingredients to the forum. These next-generation musicians’ passion, dedication, and talented skills represent the quality of our future leaders. In conclusion, the 2024 Asian Women Leadership Forum was integrated with five themes: (a) Asian American, (b) Women Leadership, (c) Next Generation Leaders, (d) Rewards, and (e) Concert.
